Dr. Rose Ramirez was born and raised in Michigan.  She went to high school in Belding, Michigan and is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.  After graduation in 1988, she did her residency in Family Medicine at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.  She has been in private practice since 1991, with strong interests in dermatology and women's' health care.  She has also been active in physician leadership, serving as the president of Advantage Health Physicians, P.C.  She was elected as the first female president of the Kent County Medical Society in 2000.  Currently she lives with her family in Ada, Michigan, and enjoys gardening, cooking and playing with her two grandchildren.

Dr. Lisa Hoekstra attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She obtained both her medical degree and a Masters of Public Health, specializing in Maternal and Child Health.  After an internship at the University of Michigan, she completed her residency at the Grand Rapids Family Practice Residency program in 1996.  Dr. Hoekstra has had a thriving practice in Walker, Michigan.  She has been on the faculty with the Department of Family Medicine at Michigan State University, teaching family practice residents and medical students.  She lives in Ada, Michigan with her husband and two children; she loves gardening,  diving in the Caribbean and playing Trivial Pursuit.
